Why we do what we do
Search and Rescue is one of those amazing things we participate in in hopes we never need to use it, but prepared for the times we must. It is rewarding for us to watch dogs do something we can never do on our own, to be able to bring loved ones home safely, or to bring families closure. We commit our time and other resources preparing to serve others because it makes a real differnce in their lives, and that makes a difference in ours.
If you need help finding loved ones who have gone missing, call your local law enforcement office right away. If you would like us to assist you with our canine teams, call 801-615-0249
Want to help serve your community too?
We need Volunteers with and without experience whether they are training a canine or not. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes on with Search work and training and we always need support with communications, coordination, planning, and other various duties.Search and rescue is a two part event, there is the actual search work, and the rescue work with medical help, extraction etc. There is a job for everyone on a SAR team. If you want to help in anyway, please contact the training directior at steve@familysar.com
